People + Process = Results

Veteran-led business consulting. HR solutions through growth and operations.

Every process that touches the outcome is in scope. Quality control and quality assurance are built into the process, not added after failure.

What This Practice Does

J3 Method LLC, DBA J3 Method, is a veteran-led business consulting practice. The work starts with people systems — how an organization finds, places, develops, and keeps talent — and continues through the operating processes that turn that talent into growth.

The operating rule is simple. People + Process = Results. Everything has a process. A process is a foundation. Map it so it can be duplicated. Apply what is applicable. Let results — not slogans — carry the work.

Operating Rule

People + Process = Results

Map it. Build QC/QA in. Cut waste.

Core Competencies

HR Solutions

  • Workforce diagnosis: skills gaps, culture, turnover, unmapped hire-to-exit processes

  • Search assignments and candidate data sheets for targeted recruiting

  • Employment-lifecycle design: recruiting, onboarding, training, succession, exit

  • SOP development from statute, policy, agreement, and actual practice

  • Retention systems and manager tools that hold after the hire is made

Leadership & People

  • Leadership development and coaching aligned to how the business actually runs

  • Role design, position architecture, and P&P packs for HR, finance, and operations

  • Team structure, span of control, and handoff rules between functions

  • Mediation, employer education, and workforce-partner networks

  • Veteran and mission-driven talent pipelines when the work requires them

Growth & Operations

  • Process mapping with QC/QA checkpoints at every handoff

  • Waste removal and proficiency gains using CPI / Kaizen and operational risk management

  • Territory, account, and revenue-system rebuilds where growth has stalled

  • Operating cadence: who decides, what is measured, what gets corrected

  • Growth plans that name people, process, and capacity — not slogans

Method

  1. Study the past — policy, prior SOPs, spend, turnover, production, and after-action data.

  2. Observe the present — walk the actual path; separate stated process from practiced process.

  3. Find the pattern — anomalies, waste, duplicated effort, unowned handoffs, missing QC.

  4. Rebuild the process — simple, repeatable steps with QC/QA at each gate.

  5. Measure and adjust — waste, cycle time, quality, retention, revenue. Change the process, not the story.

Operating rule: People + Process = Results. Map it. Build QC/QA in. Cut waste.

Differentiators

  • Operator, not commentator. Twenty-plus years leading work in uniform, in state government, and in commercial territory — then writing the process so someone else can run it.

  • HR-to-growth is one chain. A hire that cannot be developed, a manager who cannot run a process, or a growth plan with no capacity behind it is the same failure seen at different points.

  • QC/QA inside the process. Checkpoints are designed at each contact point so defects are caught where they are created.

  • No one-size template. Foundation is fixed. Application is case-specific. Apply if applicable.

Who This Is Built For

Owners, operators, and CHROs who need the people system and the growth system to run as one. Organizations with skills gaps, turnover, unmapped processes, or stalled revenue. Agencies and mission-driven operators that must place people, prove outcomes, and keep the work repeatable as they scale.

A client for life.

A J3 Method client is not a project we finish and forget. The engagement has a scope and an end date. The relationship does not.

How an Engagement Starts

A first conversation is a fact pass, not a pitch. Bring the process as it exists: org chart, current SOP or the absence of one, last 12 months of turnover or overtime, open requisitions, production or revenue trend, and the last audit or after-action. The return is a written map of contact points, waste, missing QC, and a scoped work package — people system, growth system, or both.

The continuation is a retainer, not a stack of one-off projects. A diagnostic opens the relationship. The monthly retainer keeps it.
